Desperate Media Lies Will Not Stop the British National Party

"We call it 'Smear Sunday',” said Nick Griffin.

He was talking about the Sunday immediately prior to any election in which the British National Party is standing.

Nick explained: "The establishment media always trots out terrible lies about the Party on the Sunday before an election.

“It is aimed at being close enough to the election for the public to remember and influence them against voting for us.

It is also because they calculate that the Party will not be able to respond and get things put right prior to the poll.

“If we get a correction published afterwards, they think it will be too late to make a difference.

It is very cynical, and it is yet another example of how the democratic process is rigged against the British National Party."

This Sunday saw the media sink to new depths in their war to demonise those who are pro-British National Party and anti-immigration.

The Daily Record was the worst offender.

Quoting only an anonymous "prison source", they ran a story under the headline “Racist Bulger Fiend Backs BNP”.

The story claimed that anonymous staff at a prison they were not allowed to identify had told them that James Bulger's killer Jon Venables had expressed views supportive of the British National Party.

Can you imagine the outcry if they had run a similar story about Labour, the Lib Dems or the Tories?

Try this simple exercise.

Just replace the words British National Party with Labour, and you might see our point.

Quite rightly, the unreliability of anonymous sources would have been questioned.

It would have been pointed out that Labour have the support of millions of ordinary folk, and, even if accurately stated, the views of one (clearly deranged) criminal was no reflection on those good people who voted Labour.

Doubtless, the newspaper would have contacted Labour and allowed them to stress their revulsion at the crimes committed by Venables and to point out that they had a tough line on crimes against children and paedophiles.

In fact, the British National Party wants to bring back the rope in some circumstances.

Let's not forget either that, even if the media run some negative stories about Labour, they also report their policies, positions and public statements in other articles.

Of course, the British National Party was not contacted for comment or allowed the opportunity to counter this vile propaganda.

Nor will you find much objective reporting of our policies or statements.

Fortunately, however, we are now in an age of many-to-many communication.

We don't rely on the establishment media for a fair hearing.

More and more people are becoming aware of how the establishment media seeks to lie and manipulate in order to rig the outcome of elections.

More and more people are reading between the lines and questioning the motives of those writing these smears.

Audiences for Radio Red White and Blue and British National Party TV are growing.

People are realising that by voting British National Party you are stating that you are an independently minded person who will not be manipulated or coerced.

Everyone who votes British National Party on 5 May will be stating that reason, fairness and the exercise of independent judgement is not dead in our great country.

If you were thinking about staying at home, think about the smears and how they vilify not just the Party but all those who share their views.

Then go out and put a cross on a piece of paper – right next to the British National Party name and heart! Very Happy
