Labour activist raped by senior Labour figure.

Post by Shady2 on Tue Oct 31, 2017 5:26 pm

A 25-year-old Labour activist has revealed that she was raped by a senior figure at a party event six years ago but told not to report it because it could damage her career.

Bex Bailey, who now sits on the party's ruling body, said she was attacked at an event in 2011 by a senior party figure who was not an MP.

However she said that when she managed to "summon the courage" to report the incident to a senior official in the party she was told not to take the issue further.

Ms Bailey now sits on the National Executive Committee, Labour's ruling body, and has tried to introduce measures to make it easier to report abuse but encountered repeated "hurdles".

And here's silly old me thinking that Labour hold the moral high ground.

Nothing to do with MPs, the 'senior labour figure' was a party member within th local party who should have bloody known better, and Labour is investigating absolutely everything, unlike the Coservatives.   Theresa May has known about the goings on of Labour MPs for three years, the Whips have kept a list to keep MPs in line (blackmail) and here is the list:
