Large families

Post by Jules. on Mon Jul 31, 2017 11:58 pm

What ALL these families have in common is that they are given a lot of help one way or the other by the taxpayer. Be it tax relief or extra large council houses, or whatever.

The latest 'large family' to hit the news is the Buchan family. All the kids have the SAME dad, who looks after them all, and is involved in their day to day care,  tho he chooses to live elsewhere.  Both parents work.

Of course the right wing whackadoodle nutjobs will kick up a terrible fuss and call this woman all manner of names cos it's a mixed race family.  But at least the kids all have the same dad and both parents are wage earners. And as I've already shown with a few examples, large families are nowt new anyway.

These large Families do not cause me any concern, the kids look well looked after.

Despite the Publicity which tends to make this situation look widespread over the Country there are only 190 families that have ten Children or more.

in 1985 the average Mother had 2.35 children it has now dropped to 1.9 as Women are tending to have children later in life due to work circumstances.

Well, I have to confess, I know the advantages of a large family. Although I only have one brother, my grandmother was one of 19!!!, so I have family all over the place and we get together regularly. It's lovely to know that just about anywhere I go I have family.
