George Galloway

Post by Irn Bru on Fri Apr 27, 2012 7:31 pm

Galloway has been a bit of a lad in his time. He has been contraversial and he upset a lot of people and was rightly criticised for his comments about Saadam Hussein.

Buy why all the fuss about him becoming a Muslim - allegedly?

Not convinced he has though, there seems to be some doubt.
It does make a good yarn for the rw extremists, though.

I'm sure there will be much gnashing of teeth on that right enough.

Galloway is a c--t. Whther he is a Muslim makes no differnce either way. I have to say he will have only done so for the votes if he has.

It isn't only RW extremist who find him objectionable. It is LW idolisewrs like yourself who find him alluring though.

By that logic Drinky you admit you are a RW extremist.

Apologies TTS I have corrected my post. It was supposed to say "It isn't" not "it is".

No I am a a RW Tory if that seems extreme to you it is because you are so far left wing As you would see on other sites |I regularly take issue with the far right and am a good deal more ascerbic with them than I am with LWs like IB. With IB it's banter with the extremists I really mean it.

I still reckon though the left cosy up to extremist more readily than RWers. It is only the extreme nutcases who engage in such activity on the right of the political spectrum. Gallowy former Labour member is a good example.

I have noticed that you have largely distanced yourself from skunks like Mentor, Sawyer, MTC and Allakaka.
I don't go a bundle on Galloway either, but we live in a democracy, and dubious or not, he won by a landslide.

I have never supported outright fascists. Mentor speaks alot of sense about Europe mind and he doesn't normally come out with the outright racist stuff that MTC does.

I am a very deflated Tory at the moment. I was just reading an aricle about the Tories having a memebrship of 2.5 million people in the 50s. It is well under a tenth of that now becauyse we haven't got a "Tory" party or more precisely a Tory leader.

Strangely enough Andy as you and IB think Labour did well I'm surprised you don't rate this coalition more; they are clones of what went before them.

It is Socialism lite at the moment.

That's bollocks Drinky.
No Labour party would ever increase taxes for the poor, elderly and disabled simply to afford tax cuts for millionaires.
The tories have lost their way because they are led by two incompetent, posh, rich buffoons who do not know the price of a pint of milk.
They have no plan B, which the country is crying out for in order to reduce unemployment, reduce the tax burden and slow the rate of the slash and burn of public services.
