Snow Is Moving South After Hitting Scotland

Post by Guest on Tue Apr 03, 2012 11:58 am

Snow is predicted to fall in northern England and Ireland and possibly in the Midlands and Wales today after around eight inches (19cm) came down across parts of Scotland.

Temperatures are set to plummet to as low as -5C tonight north of the border, as the big chill moves south, following one of the warmest ever March's.

On Monday last week, it was 23.3C in Cromdale in Moray, making it the hottest March 26 since records began.

Its all this Global Warming of course lol! lol! lol!

Just returned home after holidaying in Fife yesterday. Driving through a blizzard. All week we had been having al fresco meals and lounging in the sun. What a change !! I believe the bad weather is heading south as we speak.

We had a good fluttering of snow up here in the West Coast of Scotland yesterday morning for about 15 mins, quite thick it was....but then suddenly vanished.

Like Fred mentioned, we have been having beautiful warm weather these past couple of weeks, so the snow was quite a surprise.

Skys are still as blue as the Mediterranean, and the sun is there too.....but it ain't half cold now.
