It's damp and cold here in Central Scotland, what's it like where you live.

Colchester, warm and sunny this morning, clouding over now, quite windy. Have only had three or four days so far when I have had to put the heating on, and its November tomorrow! Gas company must be really cross!

Just had to resort to the heating on low, but we did not have any rain and about two thirds of the trees are still green. The big oak tree opposite me is only just starting to lose its leaves.

WOW, really swanky ...that looks like a 'GLAMPING TENT'; where the glamorous people hang out to pretend to camp!  LOL  But I've seen them at weddings for the banquet tents too.  Very nice Catman, are you gonna put up some hammocks to hang out in?

Laughing We are having our reception here in July, so that was in the back of our minds as well as having a more durable one, the one from last year completely buckled and collapsed!

They are a bloody pain to put up (they are listed as easy pop up) Laughing You have to gradually raise them from each end (that takes two people to raise them at each level)...I was swearing quite alot and stormed off once!....Doug calmed me down and said not to be defeatist!

Sounds like you both maintain that balance; where one is not as strong and needs bucking up the other has those skill and you have the skill set that your beloved Doug lacks when it comes to those dreaded gov. forms and all those legal issues.  Fantastic balance and that is what it takes to make it work.
Heading to bed; my eye's feel like they are full of sand/grit and I'm really bone weary from all of my outside watering & chicken shed cleaning up today!

We've been together for seventeen years! We are polar opposites in so many ways..ying yang?

,,,I never felt safer though..I'm allowed to go down mentally and physically from time to time, so is he!

We pick each other up through periods of our lives!

..We will always look after each other, vent and take the piss out of each other etc..

We aren't worried about getting old, since we both know that our illnesses can both be easily managed if we are both together.
