It does doesn't it! It appears it strengthens the muscles. I have been doing facial exercises since I was in my twenties, started them as part of acting exercises, it looks like they do the same thing, but stronger. No knives involved!!!

Almost like gurning, to be done on your own!!! Best one for the chin area is push the point of your chin forward as far as you can, and then up as high as you can, then hold it. You will feel is pulling your neck muscles. Then, with you mouth open do A, E, i, O and U, very exaggerated, holding each time. Raise you eyebrows as hard as you can and hold. Open mouth and push chin to left then right, holding each time. Basically, picture all the facial muscles and stretch and hold them.

LOL!!! Thanks for that.

Must remember to stay away from the windows when doing it - what with halloween just around the corner - I'll be frightening the life out of anyone who happens to be walking past.

No, they put little buds on your face that contact a small electric current, makes the muscles clench and relax.

I'm surprised you managed to do them looking in a mirror, I nearly wet myself laughing the first time! Its amazing the contortions your face can manage, but if you keep doing them, you will notice a difference. (Thats if you haven't died laughing first!)
