Teen Electrocuted In Cable Theft Attempt
Well he won't do that again, will he!!!

Re: Teen Electrocuted In Cable Theft Attempt
I'm trying very hard here not to scream! Just because we can see that a 16 year old dying is a waste and a tragedy does not mean we are on the side of people thieving. Why oh why can you not post a story, say what you think about it, without continuously alluding to 'muslims' 'lefties' 'lib lab con' etc. There have been many times I have come on, seen the story, been interested in it, have seen one of the former remarks and just turned off.

At least you didn't disappoint me sassy!
So a thieving toe-rag gets electrocuted, whilst trying to steal some copper cable!
These idiots are only thinking of the few £££'s they can get at the scrap yard for their next bit of weed!
They cause hours of disruption to trains and power outages, what if this has interrupted power supply to a hospital whilst some delicate surgery had been going on?
No doubt another waste of space, from a family on benefits, only to end up on benefits himself!
Excuse me if I don't grieve!

That makes me very sad that you can't see that a 16 year old dying is tragic. He should not have been doing what he was doing, but many people are bad as kids but turn out well. He does not have the chance to change. So what if his family are on benefits, which you don't know. Many decent people are these days, who have worked all their lives and now can't get a job. Do you have children? Kids from the best families get themselves in trouble. In fact it doesn't make me sad that you use this to go on about 'families on benefits', it makes me sick to my stomach.

Re: Teen Electrocuted In Cable Theft Attempt
There is little detail in the report so who knows what the young man's personal circumstances were? Very sad, this is someone's son afterall
Theft of metal, particularly from unoccupied premises is a huge issue. It's not the first time I've read a story like this one. We're not talking about pennies here, it can be tens of thousands of pounds involved.
It's very profitable unfortunately

I echo all Sassys words here. Yes what he was doing was wrong but he was still a human being and young at that. He will have been loved and will be missed by people and it is sad for them too.
Like Sassy, just because I find it sad when a 16 year old dies does not mean I defend crminals.

It's OK sassy and eilzel, no doubt an interview with his family will emerge in the next few days, telling us what a "little angel" he was and looked after his ten brothers and sisters, whilst their mum and dad went down the pub, to blow the child benefit!

true sassy, but he was a thief and stupid to boot....I mean.....electric cable...zzzzzzt...what price thick wellies and a pair of good rubber gloves???
Having been in the past a victim of the likes of this "kid" who twice burgled my house...and made threats of violence (for which they recieved swift and painful retribution, it must be said) I dont see it as any tradgedy, generally, these sort (though i agree exactly what "sort" he is isnt clear yet) are NOT going to "come good" they are parasites born from an older parasitic generation and will only go on to breed more parasites. Perhaps, in order to satisfy nicety we could perhaps view it as Darwin at work, survival of the least stupid or some such thing.....

Sassy has a valid point though doesn't she. You have no genuine opinion on the story and merely posted it to sneer at the boy who died and bait anybody who doesn't hang out the flags at that death.

In your opinion!
I tell you what, I'll stop posting all together and then all the Lefties on here can agree with each other and congratulate themselves on how they've screwed over the white english in this Country and have caused the rise of the "Benefit Generation"
You may however, find your site a little quiet!

Re: Teen Electrocuted In Cable Theft Attempt
I'm split on this,
Yes it's a shame that he has been killed, but he deserves no sympathy (his family yes, but not him).
He was doing something illegal and extremely dangerous and for what? A few quid, whilst costing everyone else thousands.
Hopefully this case will stop others from trying the same thing.

having said what i did above, I dont see it particularly as a shame....he knew what he was doing was wrong...went ahead and did it...and got fried for his theivery....a harsh sentence indeed, but in the end he was the master of his own doom. I have no feelings of sorrow at his passing, at least he wont graduate to granny bashing for the contents of their handbags....
