Tributes To Teen Marine Killed In Afghanistan

Post by MrDoodles on Mon May 16, 2011 9:53 pm

Yet another pointless death, bringing the total to 365 deaths! Sad

To all that voted LibLabCon, YOU killed this boy, when you put your "X" next to those Traitorous Parties! Sad

This is a new low even for YOU. You partied the hardest when Bin Laden was killed - you do realize those forces were based in Afghanistan right? Exploiting this poor lad's ultimate sacrifice to make a political point disgusts me more than words can say.

Be as disgusted as you want, but the BNP would have brought our boys home immediately, after the Election, so if you voted for any part of the Warmongering LibLabCon, you voted to kill our Troops! Sad

What's it to you anyway, in Oz? Question

Bloody disgraceful. My father [and his father and grandfather, incidentally] fought a war as a loyal son of the Commonwealth and to suggest I don't feel sorrow when a British soldier makes the ultimate sacrifice is beyond disgusting.

No doubt you would have been the first to bleat if the Taliban you seem to be happy to leave intact hosted another attack on British soil.

That is pretty desparate MrD Evil or Very Mad

So crying about immigration has failed; claiming Muslims are taking over has failed; so low has support of the BNP become, so badly have they flopped at the polling station, that they would try and guilt people into voting them by saying we are responsible for the deaths of young men if we don't Rolling Eyes ...

Sickening tbh, a crappy effort of an argument and actually slightly out of order Sad

I would say VERY out of order for a moderator of this site to slander one of the members, son of a long line of Commonwealth soldiers, to suggest that he wouldn't care about a fallen hero just because I don't have a UK passport.

What kind of person seriously believes I don't care what happens to the UK, after more than 250 posts on a UK forum about UK issues? A person who is too mentally deranged to continue to carry on the duties of forum office!

I will no longer DEIGN REPLY to this thread unless A] I get a bloody good apology or B] severe discipline is served by ##ADMIN##

The spirit of this forum has been violated in the most EGREGIOUS manner.

Well, I can't apologize on anybodies behalf John. But I will say this. We all here discuss events from around the world. MrD and I only recently were discussing American Politics, and we are all concerned about the well being of people dying in conflicts all around the world from Libya to Pakistan.

It is wrong to suggest you wouldn't care. And I for one have been pleasantly surprised at how well up you are on goings on in the UK (and ashamed to say I am way behind on goings on in your own country...).

We are all on the same side though at the end of the day, and I hope you and MrD can sort things Smile

All you Lefties can bleat all you want, but here's a simple equation for you! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

If you had voted for the BNP, you would have voted to Bring Our Boys Home immediately, which would have meant, no more deaths from the 6th of May 2010. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

If you have voted for any part of the Warmongering LibLabCon, YOU voted to keep these boys in theatre and thus exposing them to harms way! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

You may not like it, but THAT is reality! Sad Sad

I sleep VERY soundly at night, as I know that I voted to bring them home! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Once again, in the opinion of the BNP you vote for one thing, forget everything else they'd do...

That is the harsh reality, as they were the ONLY Party, who would bring our boys home! Twisted Evil

Our boys shouldn't even be there in the 1st place, it's nothing to do with us and just makes us an even bigger target for Muslim Terrorists! Twisted Evil

I agree on that MrD.

But to suggest non BNP voters are to blame is, to use one of your own key words 'disingenuous' to say the least.

Sorry eilzel, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one, as I have VERY strong views of our boys being blown to bits in this phoney war! Sad

Whilst it seems a tad harsh to say out loud that those who vote for either Labour or the Tories are voting for war in Afghanistan, both those parties supported both invading Iraq and Afghanistan, both at the behest of the Americans.

Democratic nations DO find themselves criticised for supporting or endorsing violence by their votes, thinking Hamas in Palestine or the Nazis in Germany.

The Muslim terrorists bombed Madrid remember, and got the desired effect didn't they?

We all do. But actually outright accusing people who don't vote your extreme party of being to blame is wrong imo.

I agree, and its also just simply bad manners Eilzel. But manners and flowery language aside the British reacted very differently to the7/7 bombings politically compared to the Spanish. There, the bombings were timed to occur 3 days before the GE and it resulted in a resounding defeat for the Popular Party who ever since have accused the Socialists of stealing the election. The Spanish people voted against the war in huge numbers and also held mass demonstrations after the bombings protesting at Spain's involvement.

Here in Britain we have had a GE since 7/7 but no major vote against the war nor any demonstrations or protests. Call it the British stiff upper lip or just apathy but the British public have not been galvanized in any way against our military involvement in Afghanistan despite the deaths of hostages and those in the military.
